Frequently Asked Questions
How much wil my website cost?
We understand that every business has different needs, so a custom quote is always an option.
However, for your convenience, we have put together three choices – “Start up” for $1250, “Established” for $1850 and “Entrepreneur” for $2950. You can find an in detail comparison here.
The Start up package
Great for individuals or small companies making their first steps online. Comes with enough pages (1-5) to inform your traffic, and as always, a custom design.
Extra optional costs: $50 for on-site SEO per page (not every page needs on-site SEO), $35 for extra pages, $150 for a custom quote system redesign (such as a new skin for the traditional Compulife quote engine).
The Established package
This package is for individuals or companies that want to pack a bigger punch.
Your custom design will be more detailed, more pages (1-10) are included in the price and on-site SEO as well as a custom quote engine redesign is included!
Extra optional costs: $30 for extra pages.
The entrepreneur package
All you need for a professional impression and optimal web experience.
Your custom design will be optimized down to the detail, and with up to 25 pages your website will be informative and helpful.
Advanced on-site SEO is included. Not only will your website be optimized, but your content will be checked as well to ensure a complete optimization for max results.
What is always included in the price?
Over the years I’ve dealt with clients that had poor experiences with their website or web designer.
Having to wait days, if not weeks for updates. Not being found in Google, horrible mobile experience, and so on.
With Life Insurance Web Design, you can be worry-free.
Content Management System
Any custom website I build comes with an advanced page builder, which allows you to make updates to your website yourself!
Little to no coding experience is needed. Simply click on an element to adjust it, publish it and your update is live.
Feel like making some layout changes? Simply drag elements around, preview it and decide for yourself if you like the new look or not.
Don’t worry, you can always revert the changes.
Basic on-site SEO
Every website comes with basic Search Engine Optimization. After all, what’s the point of having a great website without being found?
Advanced SEO plans are always available. If you’re not sure what you need, simply ask and I’ll suggest what’s necessary, what isn’t and what could wait.
Responsive mobile friendly web design
A responsive website detects the size of the screen it’s being viewed on and adjusts itself automatically, it’s that simple, and it never fails.
The days where mobile friendly was optional, are over. Google now shows whether or not a website is mobile friendly in its search results.
If your website isn’t mobile friendly, you may not only lose possible business, you will lose your strong ranking position in Google as well.
That’s right, Google’s new algorithm that lowers non mobile friendly websites was released in March of 2015.
If your current website is not mobile friendly, contact me today to prevent a decrease in ranking.
Will my website be optimized for Search Engines?
Any website made by Life Insurance Web Design automatically comes with basic on-site Search Engine Optimization.
However, the “Established” and “Entrepreneur” packages come with a more advanced Search Engine Optimization.
Basic SEO contains link hierarchy, meta title and meta descriptions.
Advanced SEO contains the above, but includes in depth content optimization, based on the keywords you want to rank for.
Content, titles, links, alt text and more will be optimized accordingly, so you make the best chance possible at ranking on Google and other search engines.
Are websites mobile friendly?
Every website made by Life Insurance Web Design is fully responsive and mobile friendly.
Your website will automatically detect the size of the screen it’s being viewed on and will adjust itself for an optimal user experience.
Every platform and device is 100% supported.
If you use an insurance quote engine (for example Compulife), you might have experienced that they are not mobile friendly.
I can custom design your quote engine to make it responsive, just like your website, so mobile users will be able to run quotes on your website.
How long does the process take?
Typically the entire process takes around 2 weeks from start to finish.
It all starts with a few emails or a phone call, so I understand what you’re looking for and what your targeted public is.
I’ll be happy to share my insight with you whether or not your plan can compete with the competition.
Once I understand your needs, I will design you a free example of what your website will look like.
This example can be adjusted if wanted, cost free.
Once you are ready to move forward, the development process takes around 3-10 days, depending on the size and design.
